Soya Chilli Recipe:

Ingredients

1 cup soya chunks
Hot water (for soaking)
1 tbsp ginger–garlic paste
Salt as required
2 tsp cornflour
2 tbsp Chicken 65 masala
A pinch of garam masala
2 tsp maida (all-purpose flour)
2 tbsp thick curd
1 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice
A pinch of orange food color (optional)
Little water (for mixing)
Few curry leaves
Oil for deep frying
Sliced onions (for serving)

Method:

1. In a bowl, add 1 cup of soya chunks and pour hot water over them.

2. Cover and let them soak for 10–15 minutes.

3. Strain the water and squeeze out the excess water from the soaked soya chunks.

4. Add ginger–garlic paste, salt, cornflour, Chicken 65 masala, garam masala, maida, thick curd, and vinegar or lemon juice.

5. Mix everything well.

6. Add a pinch of orange food color and a little water, then mix well again

7. Add a few curry leaves and mix well.

8. Cover and let it marinate for 20 minutes.

9. Heat oil in a pan for frying.

10. Add the marinated soya chunks one by one into the hot oil.

11. Do not overcrowd the pan.

12. Fry until they turn golden brown and crispy.

13. Remove and place them on a tissue paper–lined plate to absorb excess oil.

14. Serve hot with sliced onions and enjoy your crispy Soya Chilli! 🍽️
