1 large white onion, diced
Seasonings & Flavor Base

Drain, rinse, and set aside.

In a large skillet or pot, combine:

Ground beef
Diced green bell pepper
Diced red bell pepper
Diced white onion
Cook over medium heat until the meat is fully cooked and the vegetables are tender.
Do not drain — keep the grease drippings.

Add seasonings:
Stir in:
Worcestershire sauce
Minced garlic
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Paprika
Creole seasoning
Salt
Black pepper
Thyme leaves
Crushed red pepper flakes
Cook for another 4–5 minutes, allowing the spices to bloom.

Create the sauce:
Slowly pour in the beef broth while stirring.
Add the bay leaves and simmer for 15 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.

Combine:
Gradually add the cooked spaghetti noodles, stirring after each addition until fully incorporated.
Serve and enjoy.

  1. I was waiting for ground chicken liver. I put that in my dirty rice. This sounds good. I like the spices/herbs you used, and using the pasta vs rice sounds good. My husband would enjoy this recipe for sure! Thank you for sharing your recipe today 🙏

  2. Wow, that's an incredible dish! It's definitely something I haven't tried before, and I'm excited to give it a go. Thanks Cheers from Colorado

  3. you can use water instead of the broth and save yourself 1600mg of sodium it tastes exactly the same

  4. This looks REALLY delicious! I told my wife that Dirty Spaghetti was really trending on YouTube. I’ve already put a recipe for this dish in my cooking file, but I’m awfully glad I watched you at work on this one, ‘cause I’m liking how yours has come together (this looks incredibly delicious all plated up with a side of garlic/butter toast). I’ll be making this meal real soon!!

  5. Im with you Roger, I loved Popeyes Dirty Rice too. Why the stopped selling it us beyond me. It was really good.

  6. I would guess the next day it would be even better but I’d have to triple the recipe to have leftovers. I know I would like it and I enjoyed Popeyes dirty rice as well. I use over the top spices as well.

  7. I can understand leaving SOME of the fat/grease, but THAT was A LOT of grease!! I'm sorry but I would have to take some of it out.

  8. This is first time ever hearing or watching about dirty spaghetti. Sounds and looks like it would be delicious!
