Today in our village, we cooked the famous Indo-Chinese dish — spicy chilli chicken. For this special recipe, we used fresh chicken and fresh vegetables like red, yellow, and green capsicum. We prepared freshly ground spices using a traditional kundi-sota (stone and wood grinder) and carefully cut all vegetables by hand.
The chicken was marinated with freshly ground ginger, garlic, dry red chilli, black pepper, and a special rare yellow chilli for an authentic taste. We also added fresh egg to keep the chicken juicy and tender. The chicken was fried in rice bran oil for a healthier and crispy texture.
To enhance the flavor, we used Chinese sauces and vinegar for a rich Indo-Chinese taste, along with a desi tadka for a perfect Indian touch. We also added homemade chicken stock for extra richness.
The result was absolutely delicious 😋 — we ate and enjoyed this spicy chilli chicken and shared it with the elders at the Mental Health Trust Home in our village, spreading love and happiness. Everyone truly loved this flavorful dish.
