The KSLS has got to be one of my favorite peppers ever, so it's typically one of the 2-3 I overwinter each year. This one was started from seed in spring 2025, and seems to have bounced back excellently from being a sad green stump among the other houseplants.
It's a replacement for a super prolific KSLS that was 3 years old and going for a fourth – however, I moved to a new state in the winter of 2024, which was pretty stressful for all the plants we took along. That mature KSLS went downhill after that and never really recovered, despite my best efforts. It was a bummer for sure, but the new one is looking really great.
Hoping for many many more harvests from this guy!
