should i pluck these flowers off to encourage more structural growth?

not sure that these pics give great scale, but neither one is more than ~8” tall

    I think plucking the flower promotes vegetative growth.

    I leave mine. I do know what you’re getting at with pinching flowers method but I’ve never seen much of a difference for chilies. For fruiting woody shrubs and trees, I definitely have to pinch flowers before transplanting.
