I started my peppers 07.01.26 and yesterday I harvested my first pepper. They've only been outside for a week, arguably i started way to early, but as a result I got the first taste of my peppers this year.
I bought scotch bonnet seeds on amazon, evidently it is something else. Not sure what it was pretty spicy (maybe 100k scoville hard to say). The taste was pretty generic.
I started two plants from those seeds, and they are both different, the last picture does look closer to scotch bonnet. time will tell.
i got 15 varieties, 14 of which for the first time, so save to say i'm exited to explore the remaining peppers.
The santoku knife is hand forged carbon steel from hohenmoorer messermanufaktur, it's by far the best knife i ever used, money well spent. https://www.manufactum.de/hohenmoorer-santoku-dreilagenstahl-a203495/ (no affiliation^^)

Sometimes if peppers are to close they cross pollinate but I agree I think you was sold the wrong seeds
