A simple and comforting onion and pepper stew with rice, slowly cooked until rich, soft, and full of flavor. This dish uses just a few ingredients, but patience transforms them into something incredibly delicious.
Ingredients:
* 3 large onions
* 3 red bell peppers
* 1 tomato
* Parsley
* 2 tbsp sweet paprika
* 1/2 tsp black pepper
* Salt to taste
* 3-4 tbsp oil
How to make:
1. Chop the onions, peppers, tomato and parsley into small pieces.
2. Cook the onions on medium heat until soft.
3. Add the tomato and the bell peppers. Stir.
4. Season with sweet paprika, black pepper, and salt.
5. Half cover and continue cooking.
6. Stir from time to time to make sure it doesnāt burn or stick.
7. The liquid should gradually evaporate. Be patient – this can take 2 hours or more.
8. Itās ready when most of the liquid has evaporated.
Serve with rice or fresh bread.
