Can I safely transplant sprouted seeds out of the same cell of the tray?

Hey, I've got a few of my seeds sprouting(I know I planted them late), and everything I see online is telling me to pick the best one in each cup and to cut the rest at the soil level. I was wondering if anyone could give any advice on whether that's a must-do or if I could reasonably transplant the extras and hopefully end up with multiple plants. Any help would be appreciated

  1. You can, but I would recommend to let the roots grow a little more. If your impatient like me some years, scoop all the soil from the bottom & slowly separate the best looking one from the other. I’ve thankfully had near 100% success this year, even transplanting the same plant multiple times
