You eat something spicy. Your nose starts running. Your friend eating the same food is fine. Why?
Here is the science.
Capsaicin is the chemical that makes food spicy. When you eat it, your body thinks it is being attacked. Your nose produces mucus to flush out the irritant. That is your nose running.
Some people have more sensitive nerve endings in their nose. So they react more. Also, if you are not used to spicy food, your body overreacts. The more spicy food you eat, the more your body learns to calm down.
It is not a weakness. Just sensitivity.
I made a video about this on my channel.
