I live in zone 10A and overwintered jalapeños, Thai chiles and serranos. This spring they exploded with peppers but soon after it lost all the leaves.
I harvested everything thinking it was using all its energy for fruit. I see it slowly affecting the habernos too.
The serranos are in another area and thriving.

I’ve had a couple plants this happened to as well. Go out at night and check with a flashlight. I found a horned caterpillar eating on mine
