Help! I have too many peppers!


I have more hot peppers than I know what to do with! This is just a days worth of harvest. I already have five 1 gallon bags of frozen peppers in my freezer and have run out of room. I have several ferments going. I've made tons of hot sauce and salsas. I do have a dehydrator but haven't had the time or ability to use it because I dont want to smoke out my family with the toxic fumes!

I've given away bags and bags and bags of peppers to neighbors, friends, coworkers, and friends. And this is just the beginning of the season.

I know this is a stupid problem to have and I should've planned better but I got excited and carried away with all the different types of pepper seeds when I ordered and then planted them. I dont feel like I can donate these peppers to a food bank because they're way hot. We're talking reapers, ghosts, scorpians, 7 pot other things, chocolate habanaros, and then theres the milder hot peppers like peach morugas, fatalis, red scotch bonnets, orange habaneros, peppapeach stripeys, and aji charapitas.

What do I do? Is there a place I can sell them? I don't want them to go to waste but I'm seriously going to have to compost them because I'm running out of room and dont have enough time to make any more hot sauces!

    Are you able to use your dehydrator outside?

    Have you made pepper sauce/pepper vinegar? It’s great to add onto things like collard greens, beans, salads, etc.
