Just wondering how long it’ll take for these to turn color. I feel like overall the plant is doing really well. It started off very slow but has really come a long way. I read that I should harvest once they have become orange. Just looking for advice. Located Charlotte NC area

Sugar rush peach is a capsicum baccatum they take a notoriously long time to ripen. 30-60 days from them being full size.
Sugar rush can take weeks from reaching full size to turning color.
And from my experience don‘t harvest in the moment they start to turn. Give them another few days to get fully ripe and tasty sweet.
You need patience with them but it will pay of.
They could take up 5-6 weeks to fully ripen, but your patience will be rewarded.
