So I've been having some great luck with cayenne and apparently now mushroom peppers (damn your false advertising Bonnie!). This fall I'm going to spin up a new peppers only bed for next spring and was hoping for some suggestions on some cool oddballs to grow in it! Thanks in advance!

I did that this past year and I’m loving it. Grew from seed for the first time as well and the plants came out much healthier than when I was buying seedlings. I did Buena mulata, sugar rush peach stripey, aji charapita, lemon drop, cayenne, Thai dragon, scotch bonnet (so mad I got mushroomed as well), chocolate habanero, and a ghost.
I’m a big fan of the purple peppers that ripen to orange like Thors Thunderbolt or Hollows Eve. I’m growing both of those this year.
The Fried Chicken pepper also looks fun to grow so I might try that next year.
Dragons Toe is a fun one to grow too.
And I’m growing the Xochiteco pepper this year and it looks pretty cool with the fuzzy leaves and white and purple flowers that are fuzzy.
