My son gave me some seeds to grow for him. He doesn't have room or time. I've grown tomatoes, bell peppers, weed……. These are some interesting shaped fruits, are they normal?

Yes. Don’t cut it without gloves
Normal for superhots. Either a Primo 7 pot or surprisingly stable Carolina Reaper.
They look healthy but unless you are used to extremely spicy food, do not eat them. They appear to be Trinidad Scorpion or similar superhot pepper. They’re about 150x hotter than the hottest jalapeño and probably 800x hotter than a typical store bought jalapeño.
Be sure to let them ripen and change color.
