This is ‘Soy Sauce Ramen for Spice Lovers.’ It’s super-addictive pepper-based, supervised by S&B Foods.
The ingredients are as follows. The spices are listed as ‘spices,’ so it’s unclear what they are specifically.
One serving contains 302 kcal and 6.4g of salt.
When you open the lid, you’ll find ‘powdered soup with toppings’ and ‘super addictive pepper’ inside.
Open the powdered soup packet containing the dried ingredients and sprinkle it over the noodles. Now you’re ready to add hot water.
On the other hand, this is ‘Salt Tanmen for Spice Lovers.’
As expected, the term ‘spices’ refers to ‘condiments.’
One serving contains 304 kcal and 5.3g of salt.
It contains ‘powdered soup with dried ingredients’ and ‘super addictive pepper.’
Pour the powdered soup with toppings over the noodles.
Then, pour in hot water and wait for 3 minutes.
When it’s time, lift the lid, give it a light stir, and add your desired amount of super addictive pepper. This time I added it all. The peppery flavor is so strong that it makes your nose tingle even before you add it.
While it’s a fairly standard soy sauce ramen, the super addictive pepper is incredibly potent, leaving a subtle, peppery tingle that lingers from the first bite to the last. It’s a different kind of spiciness than chili peppers, and it’s definitely ‘spicy.’ It’s a dish I’d recommend to anyone who likes the flavor of pepper, but it made me wonder, ‘Sure, pepper is a spice, but can this also be called ‘spice lover’? I’d like to enjoy a wider variety of spice pairings.’
I added the entire amount of the super-addictive pepper to the salt ramen as well.
The light saltiness is sharpened by the black pepper. Even if you add the whole amount, it won’t be too spicy to eat, but the saltiness is quite strong, so you’ll want to drink plenty of water beforehand.
‘Soy Sauce Ramen/Salt Tanmen for Spice Lovers’ has a suggested retail price of 236 yen (excluding tax) and will be released nationwide on Monday, June 1, 2026. A set of 12 was available for pre-order on Amazon for 3059 yen (including tax), which works out to 255 yen per serving.
