Fall-themed imagery has been placed on the pillars of the EPCOT playground located along the pathway behind the Refreshment Port. The area closed earlier this month to be re-themed for the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
EPCOT Playground
The once-white pillars are now wrapped in brown, seemingly to look like trees. Branches with orange leaves are are scattered around them. There are also some furry animals, including an owl.
While we were at the playground, we could hear and see construction work taking place through the scrim.
The playground was constructed in 2025 and is re-themed frequently throughout the year.
Pictured above is an aerial view of the playground. Acorn seating is returning this year.
Around the park, the names of returning Global Marketplaces have been revealed with signs on booths. Some signs also have 30th anniversary decorations. We are still waiting for Disney to release the menus.
EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival begins on August 27, 2026, and will run until November 21, 2026.
