EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – An Evansville teenager charged with robbery is being held on a $10,000 bond in the Vanderburgh County Jail.
According to the affidavit, 16-year-old Dolver Perez Hampton was arrested after evidence was found linking him to a robbery investigation from late July.
They say Perez Hampton was found in the early morning hours of August 2 with another juvenile, and they were stopped by police due to walking in the middle of the road.

Officials say the juvenile refused to follow commands of officers and reached for their waistband. They say a handgun was found in the juveniles waistband when they were put into handcuffs.
The juvenile was arrested during this incident, and a warrant was issued to look through their phone.
Through the investigation into the juvenile’s phone, evidence linking both Perez Hampton and the juvenile to a stolen vehicle as well as robbing someone.
They say the robbery involved the juvenile pointing a gun at the victim, hitting them with it and taking the victim’s belongings.
The juvenile remains unidentified, but Perez Hampton appeared in the Vanderburgh County Jail.
The affidavit shows Perez Hampton sent the juvenile video of them driving the stolen car as well as the robbery.
Perez Hampton is being held on a $10,000 bond.
