SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – A Northwest Iowa woman charged with colliding into a Sioux City Restaurant has now pleaded not guilty to all charges
Twenty-year-old Goldie Keller of Cherokee pleaded not guilty to all charges in relation to colliding into Da Kao Restaurant, located at 800 West 7th Street in Sioux City.

Online Court Records show the Cherokee woman has also requested a pre-trial conference, which is expected to take place on Monday, Sept. 28 at 2 p.m. at the Woodbury County Law Enforcement Center.
Court documents also show Keller has been released from the Woodbury County Jail on her own recognizance.
Da Kao Collision in Sioux City
Keller was arrested on Sunday, Aug. 23, and faces the following charges:
Reckless drivingViolation of instruction permitFraudulent use of registrationLeaving the scene of an accident and striking fixtures on a highwayFailure to provide proof of financial liability
The Sioux City Police Department was called to the restaurant at about 3:57 p.m. Court records state the pickup was driving west on Omaha St. and, according to witnesses, was going in and out, around cars and driving at speeds of about 70 mph.
In an attempt at turning southbound onto Omaha Street, court documents say the pickup struck “an occupied structure where pedestrians were present.”
Sgt. Lori VanRoekel with the Sioux City Police Department says Keller lost control of the pickup and crashed into the building. After the collision, Keller reportedly ran from the scene on foot before being taken into custody.
Court documents state Keller had no insurance on the vehicle and was operating the pickup by herself with only an instruction permit. Those documents also show the vehicle had registration plates that came back as a 2007 Mercury, which didn’t match the pickup involved in the collision.
According to previous coverage, there were no injuries as a result of the collision.
