Some sort of overwinter pre clean?

I dunno if i wanna do this with my habanero. One hand it’d be nice because she’s doing amazing for a first year plant, other hand.. i guess there is no other hand. How do you keep them overwinter just in a warm room or do you do something special?

It’s crazy that you can even do this. Peppers are hardy as shit. Just move a ficus plant a foot to the left and it dies…
Who thought shocking your plant with lye and chemicals after uprooting it was horticulturally beneficial? What is the thought process behind this? Destroying the root ball distribution, lye shocking and the replanting with no way to redistribute the root system naturally. Why? I will put money on this plant being dead very soon. Ive been working in horticulture for the last 10 years but I don’t profess to know it all, but what is supposed to be the benefit? And I do over winter my Dragons Breath plants in doors each winter without running them through the car wash. The only real issue I’ve had with them once was getting a fungus, and after applying a proprietary blend of fungicide they immediately sprung back and ran gang busters. Has anyone here pressure washed their balls believing it would make them more fiertile?

Has nobody ever heard of bringing your plants inside for winter!? My climate allows me to pretty much grow year round but even I know this!?!

Every year i bring my plants inside, i got bad pest issues.
But never heard to dip the whole plant in some sht.
