A new Wingstop will open in east Fort Worth, according to state licensing documents.
Wingstop is a fast-casual national chain known for their chicken wings, fries and a cult following for their ranch. There are over 2,700 U.S. locations, with Texas home to 18 percent of them — more than any other state.
While the company already has several Fort Worth stores, the newest will join a strip mall anchored by Planet Fitness and the Dollar Tree.

When will the new Wingstop open in Fort Worth?
According to the filing, construction for the new Wingstop will begin in December with a targeted end date in March 2027.
No official timeline has been released, as the project is in very early stages.
Construction includes new interior partitions, walls, floors, ceiling finishes, lighting and electrical systems.

Where will the new Wingstop be in Fort Worth?
The newest Wingstop will be located at 2526 Oakland Blvd. in Fort Worth.
Ha Ha Buffalo Wing and Lickin’ Fried Chicken Fort Worth are the nearest chicken places, within a mile of the new digs.
This follows the opening of Fort Worth Mobile Food Court off Berry Street in the nearby Stop 6 neighborhood. This food truck yard offers seven different dining options via food trucks including Caribbean food, Nepalese-and-Latin-fusion and vegan options.
