Global flavors with Korean and Chinese influence are on the menu at a fusion restaurant coming soon to Pineville.

Paik’s Noodle, a Korean-Chinese concept, is slated to open Thursday, Oct. 1, at 10400 Centrum Parkway in The Centrum shopping plaza, according to a Google listing.

Founded by restaurateur and Chef Paik Jong-won in 2006, the fast-casual chain centers on noodle dishes that blend the “vibrant flavors of Korea and China.”

It’s perhaps best known for its jajangmyeon, a traditional Korean comfort food featuring noodles served alongside stir-fried protein and veggies in a thick, savory black bean sauce.

“Our menu reflects Chef Paik’s passion for creating meals that are both delightful and straightforward,” the restaurant’s website says.

The Pineville restaurant will mark Paik’s Noodle’s first Charlotte-area location, and its first ever in North Carolina. A permit request for construction and mechanical work on a “small Asian noodles restaurant” was filed back in June, Mecklenburg County building records show.

The Los Angeles-based brand has about 40 existing locations across 14 states.
