FALL RIVER, Mass. (WJAR) — Fall River police said that a man was arrested in connection with an armed, masked robbery on Sunday.
Tajuan Holloman, 55, of Fall River, faces charges of armed and masked robbery and assault with a dangerous weapon following an incident at Discount Food Mart on Pleasant Street.

According to Fall River Police Department, Holloman entered the store wearing a “Scream Got Face” mask, threatened the employee with a weapon, and left with $1,500.
Detectives from the department’s Major Crimes Division were able to use surveillance footage and interviews to identify a vehicle and person of interest, leading to Holloman’s arrest.
Police Chief J.T. Hoar commended the department for investigating and making an arrest within 24 hours. He said, “This case is another example of how quickly our team can take information from the street, combine it with good old-fashioned police work and modern technology, and turn it into an arrest.”
Earlier this year, Holloman was also arrested and charged in Colebrook, New Hampshire, for theft and marijuana possession.
