Who doesn’t love a good burrito?
Mexican food is one of the nation’s favorite cuisines, and in Columbia, the city is graced with plenty of delicious Mexican restaurants.
To find the best Mexican restaurant in Columbia, The State created a week-long poll and is asking its readers to vote for their favorite spot to grab some Mexican grub.
Here’s how it’ll work:
Best Mexican restaurant near Columbia poll
Starting today, the 2026 Columbia’s Best Mexican Restaurant poll is active. We selected 24 restaurants in and around Columbia that offer different styles and tastes of Mexico.
This is not an exhaustive, comprehensive list of every place that serves Mexican food in the city. Rather, it’s a wide-ranging selection representing the variety our city offers. Additionally, all options are listed alphabetically.
The unscientific poll ends Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 11:59 p.m., and we will announce the winner on Friday, Oct. 9. If you have more than one favorite Mexican restaurant, you can vote multiple times. All you have to do is refresh this webpage and choose another option on the poll.
If you think we’ve left out your favorite joint in this poll, leave a comment. Thank you for participating!
