Clearfork has a new addition to its high-end enclave.

A three-story mixed-use building at 5141 Marathon Ave., at the corner of Gage and Marathon Avenues, opened in September.

The 75,800-square-foot building includes retail and restaurants on the first floor and businesses throughout. Raymond James, an investment banking firm, has offices on the second floor.

A Wells Fargo branch is under construction; it’s relocating from downtown Fort Worth. It’s expected to open in November with about 150 employees on the second and third floors, said Chandler Wallace, director of marketing and business development for The Shops at Clearfork.

Wallace added that Piattello, a Fort Worth restaurant owned by chef Marcus Paslay, is under construction and relocating from the Waterside development on Bryant Irvin Road.

“There will be an additional restaurant on the other corner of the building, but we have not yet been able to announce them,” said Wallace.

Mizzen + Main and Rye 51 will relocate from their two storefronts on Monahans Avenue, said Wallace.

“We are excited to hopefully announce the two new stores that will take their place. It is expected they will be open in 2027,”  added Wallace.

The Shops at Clearfork feature popular restaurants, including TCU favorites Doc B’s and Mesero, an AMC movie theater and open-air shopping that consists of multiple high-end brands such as Neiman Marcus, Gucci and Louis Vuitton.

TCU students and Fort Worth locals have dealt with construction over the past year because of the new development. Many believe it will be worth the wait.

“Clearfork was, without a doubt, the place I wanted to live,” Margo Sinawi, a senior communications major. “The shopping and restaurants are exceptional; I am excited for the new restaurants to open.”
