For making cheese chilli balls
Ingredient:
⢠200 gm Boiled mashed potatoes
⢠150 gm Paneer
⢠100 gm Cheddar Cheese
⢠2 tbsp Garlic (Chopped)
⢠1 Green Chilli (chopped)
⢠4 tbsp Rice flour
⢠1 tsp Black pepper
⢠1/2 tsp Soy sauce
⢠3 tbsp Cornflour
⢠25 gm Spring onion greens
⢠Salt to taste
⢠Oil for frying
For making gravy:
⢠1 tbsp oil
⢠1 tbsp Garlic
⢠1 tbsp Ginger (chopped)
⢠1 onion (chopped)
⢠2 Green Chilli (Sliced)
⢠100 gm Green capsicum diced
⢠100 gm Red capsicum diced
⢠100 gm yellow capsicum diced
⢠1/2 tsp sugar
⢠1/2 tsp white pepper
⢠1 tbsp red chilli sauce
⢠1 tsp ketchup
⢠1/2 tsp soy sauce
⢠1/2 tsp vinegar
⢠salt to taste
⢠200ml water
⢠1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water
⢠2 spring onion greens
Preparation:
⢠In a mixing bowl add the boiled mashed potatoes, grate the paneer, grate the cheese and mix well.
⢠Take a small spoonful of mixture and shape into small mini roundels and coat lightly with cornflour & dust off the excess flour.
⢠Fry them on high flame until crisp and golden brown. Keep aside
⢠Take a wok add oil, garlic, ginger, and sauté on high flame for 1-2 mins.
⢠Add onions, capsicum, bell peppers, green chillies, sugar, and again sauté on high flame for 1-2 minutes.
⢠Add soy sauce, red chilli sauce, ketchup, salt, white pepper, vinegar & water, bring it to a boil.
⢠Add the corn starch and water slurry and cook until the sauce thickens.
⢠Add the fried cheese chilli balls and sauté well
⢠Garnish with spring onion greens
⢠Serve hot with your choice of rice.
