There’s been a lot of change in Westbrook, Maine, recently with more still to come. The bustling suburb of Portland, Maine, may be on the rise but the city is still working out its Main Street business corridor.
One of the most underrated spots along Main Street for the past several years has been a small shop called HoneyBoba.
Inside, the owners have been warmly greeting visitors for the last three years offering up delicious bites alongside some quality boba milk teas, real fruit teas and more.

While winning over customers with friendly disposition and quality products usually is a winning combination, HoneyBoba is unfortunately planning to close permanently on Friday, October 23.

There is a ‘For Lease’ signed adorning the outside of their small location along Main Street in Westbrook.
There hasn’t been an official announcement on their social media giving a reason for the closure.
Several Other Businesses Have Closed on Main Street in Westbrook, Maine
The past couple of years have brought significant turnover to Main Street in Westbrook, Maine.
The Frog and Turtle Gastropub closed permanently in March of 2025. That made way for a more recent addition to the Main Street business district, the Indian-food restaurant called Bombay Bistro.
Hub Furniture closed their longtime location along Main Street in Westbrook after more than five decades in business.
More recently, Portland Pie Co. closed their longtime Westbrook, Maine, location as well. That will be replaced by Sumo Sushi and Grill which is moving from their current Bridge Street location in the city.
