This Korean or Gochujang Chili sauce recipe is particular a type of paste used basically while making Korean style fried Chicken Or any Korean gravy dishes. This taste quite different from our normal chili paste used in Chinese dishes, So prepare in small amount first according to proportion and check it out. Here is the easiest and quickest recipe to make gochujang with all daily household ingredients.
[ INGREDIENTS ]
1. Chili paste (2 tsp)
2. Chili flakes (1.5 tsp)
3. soya sauce (1 tsp)
4. Sugar (2 tsp)
5. Rice flour (2 tsp)
6. Salt (1/2 tsp)
{ PREPARATION }
* add the rice flour in a pan followed by water as required and continuously stir to make a thick paste. Cook for max 2 min.
* Add the chili powder or paprika followed by sugar and salt as required for 1 -2 min.
* Now add the soya sauce and chili flakes. Give a stir and turn off the flame, The paste is ready and can be stored for 2 week in refrigeration.
