Hey friends, today shared the recipe of chilli garlic sauce which is very easy to make. Made with dried red chili and lots of garlic, this garlic dip is perfect if you looking something spicy with no fancy ingredients. You can make chili garlic noodles or chili potatoes or just use it as a dip for your starters. Try it at your home and tell me how you find it.
1 cup=250 ml 1 tbsp=15ml 1 tsp=5ml
Prep time: 20 minutes Cooking time: 40 minutes Make : 1 bowl
Ingredients:
Dried Red chili – 2
Hot water
Sesame oil – 1 tbsp
Garlic cloves – 12
Water – 2 cups
Sugar – 1 tbsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Soy sauce – 2 tsp
Vinegar – 7 tbsp
Cornstarch 2 tsp + Water 1/4 cup
Recipe:
Soak dried red chili for 20 mins in hot water.
Remove seeds if you want less spicy or else grind red chili with seeds using water. Grind very smooth paste.
Heat pan. Add sesame oil and chopped garlic. Fry for 1-2 minute.
Add red chili paste and mix well.
Add 2 cups water. Cook till it reduced to half.
Add sugar, salt, soy sauce and vinegar. Mix well.
Make corn slurry using cornstarch and water. Add this slurry and cook till whole mixture reduced to half.
Cool it at room temperature and store in a sterile water in refrigerator.
