Here’s an easy basic recipe for Tirk Trey p’am – Cambodian sweet fish sauce dressing for spring rolls, cold noodle, and other many other dishes. It literally last forever in the fridge as long you don’t contaminate it. You can also add some shredded carrot. Top with some fresh crushed roasted peanuts and chili paste, and enjoy as dip or dressing.
For one mason jar:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup hot water
1/2 cup fish sauce
1/2 cup distilled or rice vinegar
1 teaspoon beejeng (msg)
2 minced garlic 🧄
Optional 2 chili peppers (you can add when you are ready to serve)
Pour into a clean jar and enjoy anytime
