Ingredients:
1 6oz can tomato paste
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp honey
3 tbsp apple cider vinegar (or to taste (sub white vinegar))
1 tsp smoked paprika (regular paprika is ok)
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/4 tsp ground allspice
1/8 tsp ground cloves
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 cup water (for thinning, more as needed)
Instructions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, add all ingredients and whisk together until evenly combined.
2. Pour your chili sauce into a small pot and simmer over medium low heat for about 15 minutes to reduce and let the flavors combine. Add water as needed to reach desired consistency. More water for a thinner sauce.
3. Let sauce cool and store covered in the refrigerator.
