Low(er) Glycemic Chili – Camp Cooking on a Dark and Stormy Night

Many people are trying to limit carbohydrates these days. In this camp cooking short, we tackle a lower-glycemic load chili featuring garbanzo beans (chick peas) instead of kidney or black beans because garbanzo beans have a much lower glycemic index than other beans.

INGREDIENTS
– Ground beef
– Garbanzo beans
– Petite diced tomatoes
– Dried minced onion
– Garlic powder
– Cayenne pepper
– Cumin
– Pepper (Black and Montreal Steak Seasoning)
– Mustard powder
– Paprika (Did you put in paprika?)
– Salt (Don’t forget the salt like I did! LOL)
