They’re a delicacy anywhere, but depending where you live, they’re also very common. Here in the section of the Midwest I live in, we have huge Mexican populations.
I wish I had the money as space for a stone grinder. I have to make do with my more rustic hand grinder. I’m jealous for sure.
Even though there are a lot of Mexicans here in New York, sadly most places use store bought tortillas. When I find a place that sells tacos on handmade tortillas, the difference is night and day.
