My grandparents were pretty adventurous in the kitchen, and something that I liked eating was white beans in tacos. Throw some rosemary, garlic, cumin. Smash them. Sautee chayote and mushrooms then add green salsa.

  2. Try mixing the red onion with one habanero, 2 limes an salt to taste, let it rest 2 hrs

My wife and I recently had a conversation about this since we’ve been cooking together a lot lately…

There’s no play book. There’s no “right” or “wrong” way to make home cooked food.

If it tastes great, and/or if you personally enjoy it, fuck it! Live your best life, fellow Redditor!

Looks tasty! I’d give it a go!

Can you put anything in between two slices of bread and call it a sandwich without pointing out that it’s “non-traditional?” Yes? Good, now you understand tortillas and tacos.

Those are not as non-traditional as you think 🙂 the only rule for a real taco is “anything rolled in a soft tortilla”.
