🥣 Quick and Easy Chili 🥣
You’ll need
1 red onion
2 cloves of minced garlic
Veggie broth (to prevent sticking)
2 cups of diced peppers (whatever color you like)
Chili powder
Garlic powder
Salt (to taste)
2 cans of tri beans (or kidney beans if you’d prefer a simple chili)
1 large can (20oz) of crushed fire-roasted tomatoes (or crushed tomatoes if you can’t find these in your grocery store)
½ to 1 full can of tomato paste (for a thicker consistency)
Sautee your onion and garlic until caramelized
Add in your diced peppers and cook until softened
Season your mixture with garlic powder, chili powder, and salt
Then, add in your drained beans and your tomatoes
Once your mixture is incorporated, add in your tomato paste
* If your chili is a little too thick, feel free to add in ½ a cup or so of water
Let your chili cook for about 10 minutes and serve. 😋

🥔Oil Free & Vegan Mashed Potatoes 🥔
1 pound or so of steamed red potatoes
½ cup veggie broth
½ cup soy milk (or whatever dairy-free milk you prefer)
Salt and pepper to taste
Mash your potatoes in a large bowl and add in your liquid ingredients to make potatoes soft and creamy
Once you have the consistency you like, season with salt and pepper
(And garlic powder for added savoriness if you prefer)

I’m wanting to lose 4kg, I’m 64 this year and my weight loss efforts aren’t moving the scale. I’m going to take your advice and really concentrate on my 50/50 plate and simple meals. I’ve stopped using artificial sweetener a week ago. The only thing left is my beloved Latte on almond milk. I live alone,don’t drink,smoke or eat out. If anyone has any advice/tips I’d love to hear it.
