It’s March at the cabin and soon it will be time to tap some maple trees and once the snow melts off a bit – get down into the wood lot and start on more firewood but for now there’s not much to do so it’s a great time to make my wild camp chili.

1 pound ground moose
1 pound ground buffalo
1 cup pinto beans
1 cup red chili beans
1 large spanish onion
3 sweet peppers
various hot peppers to taste
64 oz diced tomatoes
5 oz tomato paste
