True story as I think I ate my weight in Mexican food when I went to my friend’s house. Her mom and sisters were sad that I didn’t eat the American food they prepared but the Ropas Viejas and Tamales were on point. Although Abuelita did tell me for such a skinny person, I ate a lot! That’s when I learned sadly how direct Mexicans are.
