I already have ways to improve next year. This was my first year with any gardening. All of my bell peppers are wilting right now in 98° southeast US heat so I’m hoping some shade helps. We also haven’t had rain in over a week. They get watered at 6pm and 6am right now.
I also have found a ladybug friend, a soldier bug, and a wasp has now moved in to the cowpea leaves.

Not at all! I have shade cloth over most of my plants and an umbrella over the others. We have to do what we can in this 100+ degree weather.
