Edinburgh Taco Bell

From the U.S. and have been in Edinburgh all week, traveling to Spain next week. Have had some really amazing food since I’ve been here but was craving some classic American fast food garbage, man this did not satisfy that. The flavor is just retry drastically different. The churros and caramel sauce were fantastic though.

For reference, I ordered a chicken quesadilla and volcano burrito. The creamy jalapeño sauce is bizarre here.

Fast food is weird in other countries.. McDonald’s had some weird teriyaki burger in Japan.

I imagine it’s due to them liking different spices.

Eating English fried chicken or fish as well as curry taste way different in the us.

Was the meat any better ?

Yes clearly fast food chains never have failed menu items… Clealy

the creamy jalapeno sauce is bizarre everywhere. Its nasty. slimy, and doesnt taste at all like jalapenos.

  5. I lived in the UK for 6 years due to work. I was stoked when Taco Bells started popping up (they are becoming popular there) but I just was not a fan of them. Their menu is smaller and different, I always got the volcano burrito or I would go with the cheesy gordita crunch. My favorite items in the US are the burrito supreme and the bean burrito, neither of which are on the UK menu.
