I won whatever the first Xbox was from taco bell, I think mine was a second chance draw as well. Gave it to my boyfriend ( now husband) because I only play nintendo. I had forgotten all about it, so thanks for bringing back a nice memory!

I won one of the XBOXs IIRC. I sold it on Craigslist because I already game on PC. I think it even made the “DONG!” noise on booting up.
The secret to winning was easy – **they gave away one every fifteen minutes**. So I held onto my code and called in at 4:30 in the morning on a Monday when I got up for work. My winning chances were probably 1:100 instead of 1:10000.
The last time they offered this my son who was maybe 8 said , “well Duh we aren’t going to win because the employees can see the codes” Brilliant at such a young age, too bad their marketing folks were not that smart !! Lol

I won a PS Vita from them years ago. Well, I didn’t actually win. I traded an old PSP with a guy online for one of his “wins” from the game they were running. A bunch of people in the black hat forums were selling wins (from bots) but I got a guy to trade for it instead.
I seriously doubt many winners were legit. There were A LOT of guys gaming the TB game.
Very cool. Wish they still did this kind of thing. Won the Xbox myself in 2019 with one of the promo chalupa boxes. Makes the Taco Bell ding noise whenever the console is turned on as well.
