What is Taco Bell’s famous sauce? Red sauce? They seem to indicate otherwise because they call out red sauce on the Enchirito…

As someone who loves making burgers with taco meat and queso, that might not be a bad idea revamped now.

I WANT A BELLBURGER!!!
I’ve never had but sounds tasty.

And I bet it was a stuffed taco too. Something tells me back then they weren’t as skimpy.

This is neat!
My cousin, who I think is late 70s, always tell me how he worked at TB when they were first established and there was burger on the menu! I’ve never actually seen it tho!

Unlocked childhood memory of having to choose either green sauce or red sauce on the bean burrito.

I worked at TB briefly in 1982 or 83. These were all on the menu and more. I love the Enchirito. I would get mine with extra cheese and olives. Tostada was deeeelllish, if messy. Same with that Bell buger, but it was called Bell Beefer and Bell Beefer Deluxe.

The tortillas used to be so good back then.

I forgot all about the bellburger. Watch them bring that back instead of stuff we really want

The frijoles were my first solid food, lol

Nothing like a refreshing cup of orange

Live with it? I’d prefer it if only for the increased consistency and quality. This a limited time item for a 3 month period and I’m a regular again.

I just want the tostada back. Stop playing with my emotions Taco Bell!

Do we only know how to pronounce burrito in america because of taco bell? Wow
DrSueuss
I guess back then there wasn’t a lot of people eating Mexican food since they had to phonetically spell each item.

All I see is a current Taco Casa menu!

Enchirito 🙂

I like how it has the pronunciations like they’ve never seen or heard of these foods before lol.

I would love to work with this compared to what there is now. However, I know some would very much disagree.

If you have a [Taco Casa](https://tacocasatexas.com/) nearby, give em a shot!
I think it was a former TB franchise owner that decided to start their own chain doing the classics instead of being bought out by PepsiCo or whatever
My local one closes but I loved their ‘Chilada’ (Enchirito) … and they still used black olives!
