Late and first harvest. I got about 40 today, but easily over a 100 green ones left (between 2 plants) and ideas to ripen them any faster?

I’ve been wondering the same thing. I don’t really know but I read someone’s comment yesterday that said colder night temps will help ripen them faster. Not sure though 🤷♂️
Sometimes when you pick one or a couple fruits off a pepper plant the rest start ripening faster.
Picking the ripe ones should help speed things up, the plant will have more energy to focus on them now
What are these?! I have mystery peppers growing that look exactly like this!
Are those habenero reds? Cause mine are doing the exact same thing, I have like, 20 green fruits, most to size, but none are ripening.
Like others said, picking the ripe ones is the best method to speed up the ripening of others. You can also trim off some of the leaves and be sure to pinch any new buds or growth that pop up so the plant focuses on the fruit it has, rather than spending energy on new growth
Scotch bonnets, right? Looks great for making some jerk chicken
