Included a picture from a couple days ago along with this pepper ripe today. It Smells HOT, and taste Very Hot! Heat wasn’t an instant assault on my mouth, so I don’t think it’s a type of Ghost Pepper.

Fatalii
Looks a bit like a yellow or pineapple ghost. Fatalii is another one that I can see
I’m a bit confused. You say it has a slow burn so it’s not a Ghost? But ghosts *do* have a slow burn…
On the other hand, that means that it’s most likely not a
Fatalii, because those kick you in the face hardcore with their high concentration of Nordihydrocapsaicin.
They look identical to my fatalii peppers. Even the not quite ripe one on the second pic. And damn, they sit at that “not quite completely ripe” stage so damn long.
Is the heat almost absolutely instant and hit the tip of your tongue the hardest? That’s how mine are, and it feels like you’re licking a popsicle made out of sandpaper
Looks like a Fatali. [Here’s my Fatali](https://reddit.com/r/HotPeppers/s/Pza6FMrq2W)
Possibly Datil. My experience with datil is they have a delayed burn by about 10-30 seconds. Datil is about same heat units as Habanero, which is 150K-350K.
That’s a Datil
looks like my fatali
