Not sure but this plant looks very good!
Probably not, they should turn most likely red. Purple is generally an intermediate color prior to ripening. If they completely dry out on the plant and are still purple then you can be sure.
Looks like a murasaki, right? They turn greenish then finally a bright red when they’re ripe. They stay purple forever and then practically ripen over night, at least that’s what mine are doing.
