One of the most egregious pricing sins in my opinion

Has to be the price creep of the chicken chipotle melt over the course of a year. From a reliable dollar menu item to BEING MORE EXPENSIVE THAN A BEEFY MELT OR THE NEW CHICKEN ENCH BURRITO DESPITE BEING MUCH LESS FOOD. It defies reasoning

Lord help me I thought this was a 9/11 post

Hold on what is shown in the picture? Which one is the smaller burrito? Either way that’s crazy difference in value for the same cost

  3. DirkKeggler

The bigger one is chock full of rice. Y’all can keep that filler.

You mean it defies seasoning* 😆🥁🧻

The Chipotle chicken melt is one of the most laughable items they sell from a size to price ratio.

That chipotle chicken melt issue a joke. Tiny little poorly wraps taco

  7. solipsister

    That’s why it’s a melt and not a burrito

  8. I freaking LOVE that melt. One of the best items, but I will never ever buy it again as long as it is over $1 unless they increase the size. It’s one of the worst value items ever.

Just reconfirms the beefy melt burrito is a GOAT value

My app shows $2 enchilada burrito, click it, $3.19. Love that

It has always been one of the worst menu items. Particularly value-wise. It’s only really beaten out by the Cheesy Roll-up, though for me the Cheesy Roll-up is at least $1 instead of $2, now. With it being $2 or more, I’d never order it over the Chipotle Ranch Grilled Chicken Burrito which has practically the same ingredients but several more and it’s in a larger tortilla. And literally cheaper in some places now.

if you arent adding potatoes to your beefy melt burrito you are fucking up son

It’s wild what some of these locations are doing to their pricing. Chicken chipotle melt is $1.99 in SW Michigan. $2.00 for a beefy melt burrito or chicken enchilada burrito. It doesn’t really add up for them to be basically the same price, but I’m just glad they aren’t more than $2!

The melt WAS my favorite item. But it being 2 bucks for that tiny thing is a freaking crime

I just tried the new chicken enchilada burrito and was blown away yesterday. Stop posting this. You’re going to ruin it!!! 🙁

Funny thing is the Chicken Chipotle Melt is basically a mini chicken quesadilla and the chicken quesadilla came out like 20 years ago at $2.19.

  17. Dumb_Vampire_Girl

CCM has the most flavor though ):

Idk what they’re putting in it, but its so good.

I don’t buy them anymore but I am using my reward redemptions for them, because I want something with double chicken, and it’s the only reward option with base chicken to begin with.

Taco Bell is getting way skimpier on everything and is stingy over refunds, I wanted my trash food that the employees could give 2 shits about.

  20. marshmallowfluffpuff

it used to be a shredded chicken mini quesadilla and was a dollar. those things slapped.

one of the worst price sins imo is the chips n cheese. at my location it’s over $2. it’s the exact same cost as the fiesta potatoes. meanwhile cinnamon twist is $1 and any side of sauce is 60¢.
PRO TIP FROM A TB EMPLOYEE: NEVER ask for chips n cheese. always ask for a SIDE of chips (60¢) and a SIDE of cheese (60¢). it’ll save you over a dollar.

  22. insidmal

I’ve never seen those $2 burritos be that big before lol

  23. AndThenHeToreHisAss

I absolutely love the chicken chipotle melt. I have never been to Taco Bell and not got it

I can eat at my favorite Mexican restaurant for basically the same price as TBell.

The $5 box is the only thing worth the money there anymore, but my local stores always serve old, stale chalupa shells.

I miss the $1 beefy crunch burrito. I used to eat plenty of food there for very cheap. Now a soft taco costs $3. I also remember when a double cheeseburger at McDonald’s was $1, now it’s around $3 too. Fast food just isn’t price efficient anymore.
