I was trying to figure out what I did wrong cause Pepper plants are fairly easy to grow. It dawned on me that I haven’t been shaking the plant leaves so they can self pollinate I guess so maybe that’s why the flowers weee dropping off and no fruit. Now my Serrano plants lost all it leaves but I brought it back to life and it’s grown quite a bit but recently the leaves at the top stated to look weird, anyone know why? And my ghost pepper plant looks pretty good and I went out there and shook the plants so hoping to actually see some dang fruit from the flowers. I don’t need a lot cause I’m only one person but I’d like some home grown peppers to try. Last time I had so many peppers I didn’t know what to do with, but I also had like 30 or so plants. This time just my two favs and nothing. What y’all think?

The firat pic looks like possibly a calcium deficiency, which is why the leaves are curled and distorted. As for shaking the plants to pollinate, why not grab a qtip or paint brush and hand pollinate of you dont have any pollinators? I feel like that would be more successful than shaking the plant which isnt gonna do much but release any pollen and hope to god the wind doesnt blow it away before it makes it to another flower
Do you not have bees where you live? You shouldn’t need to self pollinate outdoors.
The leaf curl could be a number of things. Looks to me like too much too strong light. How is the weather where you live? How strong is the sun?
broadmites?
I had a similar problem here in Florida. I believe the summer sun and heat consistently over 95 for months caused most of my problems. My plants just shot up with a few flowers and just a few peppers. Then the powdery mildew hit and that was it. Didn’t see it till it was to late and there is no beating it. I ended up cutting off the top third of the plants and now have a lot of growth from the lower sections but I have to wash the leaves daily. We have long growing seasons here so there is a very small chance that I will get peppers this year.
Too Much fertilizer maybe
