I’d say two things about this.

    1. Nice work getting some peppies to grow!

    2. Note everything: condition of these plants, your process in caring for them, what didn’t work this year, and use that to plan how you’ll approach it next season.

Without context, they look neglected but survived on good genes.

Give yourself some credit for the little successes and get excited for next season’s game plan! I’m already shopping for materials to plan out my seeds. Too bad we can’t do this year round!

Why let them die just to harvest?
They look ok other than thirsty. Hopefully the lack of water stress just makes them angry spicy peppers.

Im gonna apologize upfront for being blunt, but you asked, so you’ll get some honest feedback. You got downvoted (no it wasnt me) because the plant looks neglected throughout its growth. If the pods are that close to the soil, they aren’t very tall. Stems that thin say you didn’t give them time to mature enough to support a full load of peppers. Lack of water and lack of nutrients will do that.
