Taco Bell

At $5.19, is the cheese quesadilla a contender for one of the most overpriced Taco Bell items?

Absolutely. Go an customize for extra shredded cheese and meat and you’ll receive none 🙃🥴 and they have gotten smaller in overall size as-well and they did away with the see thru wrapping

Used to order them in high school (20 years ago). It’s a quesadilla for 5 bucks. Any numb skull can make it at home for way less.

Especially when they put like no fuckin cheese in it also.

100% It’s not the most expensive, but the food per dollar is insulting

Wake up babe, Mike’s new overpriced Tbell post just dropped

When it comes to weight to $ price ratio this has got to be the worst

  7. Yall, it’s the soda.

The soda is the most expensive money that gets printed for us for free.

It’s pretty wildly overpriced. At least it’s grilled and has Creamy Jalapeño Sauce. The Cheesy Roll-up is just a warmed up tortilla with shredded cheese. Maybe not as terrible of a value overall, but I can’t make Creamy Jalapeño Sauce at home that tastes the same. I can make a Cheesy Roll-up that tastes identical.

Still, I’d never buy the Cheese Quesadilla. If I’m going to be a sucker and let them get me like that, I’m going with the Steak Quesadilla at least.

I remember a time where this was a reasonable drunk buy. Sad how far it’s fallen 😟

Yes I’ve always thought they need to be lowered in price

Not even close. A Doritos locos taco is 4.89 here and that’s not even the deluxe one.

If a taco truck in my area served cheese quesadillas for 5.20 they would fail as a business.

  13. Quesadillas are expensive everywhere, and I’ve never understood why

This thread is bait, BUT…my go to for the longest time was a Cheesy Gordita Crunch Combo, plus a steak Quesadilla, and that only cost $9.90 after tax.

    I miss those days.

Ya it went from 3.99 to 4.29 to 4.49 here recently or something like that. Honestly I still get one occasionally because they are fucking delicious and I don’t have creamy jalapeño sauce at home.

Stopped buying these and spent days trying to replicate at home. You can’t buy their sauce for a good price off Amazon because if you buy bulk they expire in like a month, all of them. If you buy 1 single bottle you’re paying almost 5$.

Damn, even if they’re in Alaska their COGS on this is like 5%

You can blame families. From toddler age to grade 5 – this is the only item my kids would want off the entire menu.
