Today in the kitchen we are making Chili from the ingredients in the pantry submitted by a follower on instagram for #showmeyourpantry. Let’s get started!
Ingredients List:
* Onions
* Green Peppers
* Red Peppers
* 1 can Crushed Tomatoes
* 1 can Diced Fire Roasted Tomatoes
* 1 can Kidney Beans
* 1 can Black Beans
* Corn
* 1 tbsp Chili Powder
* 1 tbsp Ground Cumin
* 1/2 tbsp Cayenne Pepper
* 1/2 tbsp Garlic Powder
* 1/2 tbsp Onion powder
* Salt and Pepper to taste
* Cinnamon
Directions
* Dice 1/2 an onion, green and red peppers and cook in heated pot with oil.
* Add your crushed tomatoes to your pot and the chili seasoning.
* Add the diced fire roasted tomatoes to the pot and mix on low heat.
* Add your kidney beans, black beans and corn to to the pot and let sit on medium heat for 5- 10 minutes.
* Serve with cheese, sour cream, rice and some corn cornbread.
