Pepper seedling diseased? Purple cayenne. What is going on?

I have grown a bunch of pepper plants from seeds for the first time. One of my seedlings has very thin leaves compared to its counterparts
Pic attached. Both plants are the same, purple cayennes.
What’s going on with the one on the left. Some disease? Seems somewhat healthy still.
The only thing close to what I can find online is candlelight disease but doesn’t seem to sit right.
Grown from seed in jeffy pellets then transported into bigger containers until the final pots.
Any help would be appreciated

Its a filiform Mutant. It’s a rare, and sought after mutation that people use to try to cross into other varieties.

Not diseased you have a nutrient deficiency due to soil ph or high water or temperature. Get a leaf nutrient chart . Most home depo potting soil is just bark sprayed with crap and not very good.

I had a Habanada seedling grow like that a couple years ago. I kept it alive in Kratky until April of this year and it finally died due to aphids and repeated treatments to be rid of them.

Those kind of plants are more fragile than regular ones and pretty rare. It never grew a single flower in its whole life, despite becoming a foot tall with very thick foliage. I tried to keep it happy.

When looking up what could cause such a condition I came across something called “curly top beet virus” which looked similar. That was the only plant I’d ever grown from a seed that looked like yours.

I’ve grown plenty of Candlelight Mutant plants also and it’s not quite the same as the filiform leaves. On my Habanada if you looked really close you could see that the edges of the leaves almost looked like they were rolled a bit and flattened on the ends.

I think I posted my plant on here over a year ago. I received some hate on my posts/comments back then and am giving it another try 😊
