Since the discount isn’t applied until the last step of checkout, the price of the soon-to-be-free taco counts towards the total. Do with that what you will.
Btw, maybe it’s time we added “deal” or “discount” flair to the sub. Perhaps a “loophole” flair which would apply here. This isn’t the type of deal that’s going to be abused like some other types of deals

Interesting. This morning I got a $5 Chalupa Cravings Box along with the free Breakfast Taco. Worth every penny.
Ouch at the price you had to pay for those burritos. They’re only $1 at my nearest store compared to $1.49 for the Breakfast Tacos.
A PSA ive been thinking about for a while that barely relates to your post. Don’t add creamy jalapeno sauce or any sauce to your items. Order a side of the sauce you want. It’s the same price and you get more.

I got my free breakfast taco today. This is basically half a breakfast quesadilla. It was very thin and welded together so I couldn’t get salsa into it. It’s fine for what it it, though. I’m still going for the Breakfast Box until they discontinue it or it goes above $7.
